App types
In Zid App Market, we support two types of Applications, Public/private Applications, and Shipping Applications. For each one of them, there's a specific cycle that must be followed to reach a successful integration.
1. Public/private Application: This type Includes 10 App categories:
Marketing
Customer Support
Inventory management
Accounting
Analytics & Reporting
Productivity
Finding Products
Payments
Mobile Apps
Operations
2. Shipping Application: This type includes any logistic services such as:
Shipping
Fulfillment
Dark stores
App Appearance options
As a developer, you can publish applications in two ways, Public and Private Applications, under the hood both types are the same. However, the only difference is the listing status.
1. Public application:
Will be published on the market for all of our merchants, so any merchant can view it and install it.
2. Private application:
Is the kind of application that can be installed on specific store/s only without listing it on the market, and can not be installed unless the merchant is explicitly granted to.
By default, all apps are meant to be public. However, if you want to build a private app for a store, you can contact us when it's ready to publish it on the needed store, from here
