As a Theme Partner, once your theme is published and merchants begin purchasing or installing it, if paid, you are eligible for monthly payouts. Zid follows a structured payment process to ensure transparent invoice generation, review, and settlement.
The invoice flow depends on the tax type configured in the approved agreement for each theme.
Payout Process Overview
For themes covered by an approved agreement with the VAT tax type, Zid automatically generates the VAT invoice for each eligible theme and full calendar month.
You do not need to manually upload an invoice when the VAT payout is first created.
For VAT payouts:
The regular invoice generation run takes place on the 1st of each month for the month that just ended.
An additional run takes place on the 15th to catch eligible invoices from earlier months that were missed during the regular run.
Once the invoice is generated, the payout appears with the Under review status.
The invoice is available from the payout's Attachments section.
Partners are not notified when the automatic invoice is generated, so you should check the Payouts page for new invoices.
Partners without a VAT agreement follow a separate automatic flow on the 6th of the month for the previous month.

Automatic VAT Invoice Generation
For themes whose approved agreement has the VAT tax type, Zid generates the VAT invoice automatically.
Each invoice covers:
One theme
One full calendar month
If you have multiple eligible themes, a separate invoice is generated for each theme.
For example, if you have three VAT-eligible themes, you receive three separate invoices for that month.
Invoice generation schedule
1st of the month
The regular run generates invoices for the full calendar month that just ended.
Example:
An invoice generated on 1 October covers September.
15th of the month
The 15th is a catch-up run.
It does not cover the first half of the current month.
Instead, it generates eligible invoices from previous months that were not generated during the regular run.
For example, this can happen when a VAT agreement is approved after the 1st.
In many cases, no additional invoice may be generated on the 15th.
Generation time
The automated process runs at 03:30 Riyadh time.
If the scheduled date falls on a Friday, Saturday, or national holiday, invoice generation moves to the next working day.
The invoice date is the date on which the invoice is generated.

The relevant calendar month has not ended yet.
The payout has already been processed, rejected, or settled.
